I was just looking at the local humane society's web page because I was thinking about doing volunteer work there(I used to, 8-10 years ago) but after looking at it this time, now I remember why I didn't go back to doing it a couple years ago. it's stricter than applying for a dang nursing job! you have to pay $25 just to do volunteer work, they want references, application filled out and you have to look at the different job descriptions first and be sure you can do everything on it independently before filling out the application, etc etc etc ...ok, lets see whut else I can do...
I had some pictures that I know I posted on here but now I can't find them *pout* just like that video of patches running into the sliding glass door thinking he could pounce on dat sqwerl. *shakes head* patches had quite a few knocks to the noggin over the years lol but I lubbed him and miss him. at one point I put some of those decals on the door so he'd realize the door was there
yeah, that's what I meant by mean kids. they hurt/kill animals, even itteh bitteh ones. did I ever tell you about the time tigger scared a raccoon away by hissing at it? she was 26-27 pounds at the time so she was a big kitteh. as soon as I found out I ran outside and grabbed her and brought her in and told her, sorry, you aren't going outside any more eber. I had a fenced in back yard so I let her go out there to walk around and hopefully get some exercise. that was the end of that. when I lived in a different part of florida I had deer, fox, raccoons, all kinds of stuff coming right up to my patio. only time it worried me was when I got home from work one night and there was a raccoon by my front door. I moved slowly, no sudden movements, and made it past him. mebbe the unknown kitteh helped me too ;) I had a screened in patio so patches and tigger(then molly after tigger went over the bridge) all the fresh air, the woods, the animals.... the animals they had trouble with were hooman kids. I caught some hitting the screen to my patio with sticks while tigger was out there, trying to scare her. when I got up and they saw me, they ran. there were 2 kids, ages probably about 10 years old
It would be truly heinous if those who call themselves our leaders did their damage with their own money, but they take ours and use it to make our nightmares come true. In the case of the USA, it's all in the family - most elected presidents are related to each other through John Lackland, and ALL of the elected presidents have a common ancestor in the maternal line. Dethrone 'em, say I. The American Revolution was not about dynasty-building.
Thanks for all the congrats, Fred. Captions have just come to me for the past couple of weeks. I've never had this happen before. It has been fun, I must admit. I can't think of KKPS adventures the way you do though.
