I'm hoping maybe Mom and Dad will bring a brood with them some day to her house since she is a proven noms source! And who wouldn't like a cheez bed - wouldn't last long with me as I love cheese and could live on it, bread and salad.
hahaha! GOOD one! But as long as I'm alive, they will have a bite to eat and a treat to share :) YOUR place sounds wonderful! I have had a raccoon here once, but never a fox or the other animals you get to enoy. I live right smack in the middle of downtown, so wildlife is kinda scarce here *snerk*
I think their animal instinct tells 'em I'm safe and a real pushover for anything they need! My neighbor, who is a VERY nice lady came out to them one day and they flew right away. But me, I call to 'em and they come right over :) One of my bunnies has hopped up between my gate and gotten right to my back door several times this year. When it has been snowing so hard that the food I left out got covered up I have put more by my covered porch. He came also on days when there wasn't any "extras" out there just to look around ;)
Me too :) I have been putting out food for the neighborhood rabbit and birds year round (although the birds get the heck OUTTA here!) and now for the last 2 weeks, I seem to have befriended a pair of male and female Mallard ducks!! When I go out there with bread, they come waddling on up to me quietly quacking. Their picture is in my "stuff" folder if you want to see them
