Rental people canbe nasty at times, depending on people not paying enough attention to those details. Probably the mad sinetist had too much on his mind to be trusted in the kitchen with (gasp!) fire or electrical appliances. I'm not sure I've had more than 1 teakettle in all these years. maybe 2? Probably only been used about 5 times since microwave. so maybe he can just put the water in cup in microwave and come out safely.????

By gramawgs on Sep 26, 2009 at 10:32 AM

Was he trying to make tea or doing an "ek spearmint" lol. Hope the legal stuff is ok. I realy hate that kind of thing and so many people her age are totally unaware that they can get help for these dumb things.

Julia must have had a pretty good metabolism. have a good visit with Anita.

By gramawgs on Sep 19, 2009 at 2:07 PM

neat. I didn't see very many of her shows but those days banks were giving people gifts and I got the book of however many shows. I probably have just read more than actually cooked anything. And that's far better for the waistline, just imagining.

I don't remember Child's making it. Might have to look it up when there's an occasion. This in the bag is ok, not too special but i snip off the corner and use just a little bit over several days. If we're careful to close it tightly it doesn't get too brown and icky. I made more when my neighbor shared from her tree but the tree blew down in a storm. It's grown back but don't know if it recovered enough to produce enough to share. Haven t been given any anyway. oh, now it's getting hungry .... and I meant to do some stuff before lunch. laters, then.

By gramawgs on Sep 18, 2009 at 4:38 PM

heehee. I buy it ready made from Trader Joe in a squeezable plastic bag.

Yes, newish. She gave me her old one before when she got this one. Trisha gave her a new one for Christmas. Got to figure out which button to push before your tips will work. lol. But that is great about digital. shoot shoot shoot and delete what was bad. and if it's not all bad you can edit. i did take a class before but didn't keep at it so forgot most. The teacher was a kick.

Yes she is. Yesplis sent me her castoff camera last week finally. Trying to read the user manual and figure out how to use it so maybe I can take some pix soon. These cats dont do very much funny these days but who knows what might happen if I'm handy with camera.

By gramawgs on Aug 30, 2009 at 3:44 PM

Sounds like fun. be careful you don't fall down out in the wilderness nd leave him up the creek paddle or not.

Arly (cat) also had urinary problems. I thought she was so smart to piddle in the sink so I could see that there was blood. It's kind of expensive but she does like it and so I give it to both. Cooler today, only 95 instead of 102. But the fog is supposed to come in tonight and be cool tomorrow. Spent most of today reading. Evanovich's "Motor Mouth" hilarious. Read your mesij nd se you wil hav cheezmeet. yay! Hope she makes it to here on this long trip.

By gramawgs on Aug 28, 2009 at 4:02 PM

They do tend to get expensive to keep but sure worth it. At the least I'll have to stop by vet next week for Arly's prescription food. Hot here today. google weather button says 101 but only about 74 in the house so far. Went to Feldenkrais class today. Good crowd but the bureaucracy of the thing is ridiculous. State funded. that explains everything.

Any more mice in the bed? Too much apple will not yield good results in puppy's tum. We had one of those decorative red plums. Gerry ate those off the ground. yuck. but I never actually picked up the beaten up cat and took to vet. Just let her heal herself a day or 2 more or less undisturbed. These girls have rarely stayed out all night but when I was young we always put the cat out at night. Fortunately we know better now.

By gramawgs on Aug 24, 2009 at 3:22 PM

Puppy's right about raspberries, what about the cherries? oh, pits? That's the way to enjoy them best, right off the tree and into the mouth. I do that with the r.berries at my brother's house. There weren't very many the last time but good enough. I wasn't hungry anyway. Never tried the kangaroo jerky and was fresh out of the frozen yogurt. Mouth is better, mostly today and I could eat real food. It would seem like losing a pound or so but as soon as I'm better it all comes back.. Thought of you when looking on shelf for next book to read. erma Bombeck's "I want to go to Boise". One of these days I'm going to read all her books. Read all the stories in the newspaper years ago.

Hawt dawgz ina baskit shur maikz em run huh? What is it about that smoky salty stuff that they like so much. Cats go crazy at the smell of bacon or ham. The happy pills are really something arent' they? I walked around in a stupor when I could get up at all. Got to drag my butt out to the kitchen soon. Don't know what it's going to be yet even and there are those who think it should be on the table already.or in the dishes. Mouth is sore so I'm not going to enjoy very much whatever it is. Maybe just fry up the little hunk of meat and slap on some bread for Dave. He's ok with that. but, even yogurt hurts. Might have to live on oatmeal for another day or 3.

By gramawgs on Aug 21, 2009 at 3:45 PM

Never a problem about keeping up here. What are you doing to help the owiness? Regular palm trees with the beans planted at the bases. Good use of space, I sayz. The people were out walking with their houseguest the other day so I had the opera tuna tea to say that I ws proud of them. I don't know why they let the artichokes bloom except they were pretty.

By gramawgs on Aug 14, 2009 at 3:25 PM

Do your muscles spasm in sympathy with the rib? I was so glad to have the adjustable bed when my chest was owy. Still hurt but not as great a stretch. Dogless walk here today. Neighbor has greenbeans ready to pick off the palm tree and tomorrow there will be a cucumber and maybe tomatoes. I didn't even swipe a one. yet.

By gramawgs on Aug 12, 2009 at 3:48 PM

Hope you feel more comfy soon.

By gramawgs on Aug 12, 2009 at 3:47 PM

sure is a good little protect the mawm . Did you tell me about cracked rib? ouchy! That's worse than muscle spasms in the back. (How can that be when I have no muscle?) Still have a few relaxants and will emayo dr. to see if I can get more. Meantime try to stretch, rub and maybe take more calcium
