That was quite a game UTEP played. They never gave up and kept managing to score when they had to. ESPN online shows scores that update automatically, and that was how I followed the game. It's too bad Seattle isn't worth two cents this season. The Cardinals are no better. I've seen many high school teams play better than both of them played today. It was as if no one wanted to win, and no one did--a 6-6 tie in the NFL is beyond pathetic. Other than a few minutes of the Deadskins' game, that was all the football I watched today. I saw some of the Ohio loss Saturday. I was surprised too but delighted as well. I also watched some of Clemson's tight game with the Wolfpack. Clemson seems to do just enough to win. I don't think they can beat Alabama if things come to that. If Coach Houston really were a fundamentals guy, he would at least have reduced the penalties by now, so I don't think losing to Richmond will change anything in that regard. He's not what he seemed to be from all he said, but talk is cheap. I'm sorry the Waling Dead killed off two major characters. That is disgusting. The show that I liked the best of the ones I quit following because of all the deaths of important characters was 24. When the last season came, I watched an episode to see who had made it to the end, and the only two characters from the beginning of the show were Jack Bauer himself and Chloe--ridiculous. I know Walking Dead has killed off some beloved characters before too. If I had become a regular, I would be leaving now. I expect some major characters to die, just as happens in real life, but when writers kill off folks in droves, it seems to me they just don't have the ability to write well enough to keep things interesting over a long period of time. That makes me lose interest. I hope you will have a good week.

You made the HP twice!! Thats great!! :-D I see why you prefer contacts over glasses. I allmost choked once on a fish bone. Ever since I don't eat fish that much any more. Just the fillet ones. And if I find a little bone in there (happens sometimes), I stop eating ;-) I do hope you're wrong about Glenn and Abraham!! I like those two a lot! Specialy Glenn!! Hopefully you're work will pick up a bit! The days must drag for you right now :-( Did you have a nice weekend? What did you do/and eat? I've been really busy painting. And yesterday and today we put the furniture back, and cleaned up. So much dust from sanding the furniture, before painting.... But now I'm cleaning and sorting drawers and stuffs, I might as well continue with the rest. Like next week I plan on cleaning the kitchen and wardrobe. There were different sorts of pie's at the party by the way. Like apple and cheesecake. I watched the first 3 epps of Lucifer. They were fantastic!! That guy is hillarious!! Have you seen some more GoT, or any other shows? Have a fantastic Sundog!! *hugs* :-)

The Dodgers can now adopt the old Cubs motto: "Wait 'till next year." *** (By jadzia23 on Oct 21, 2016 at 8:53 PM * lol After game three, I had kind of hope the Cubs bag had torn open. I think you two are right about it though. I've never been a Cubs fan, but I did read an article about elderly Cubs fans, so I won't be too disappointed about it.)

Coach Houston will wish he'd done something about all those penalties when Richmond stomps JMU in two weeks. The two schools are major rivals, and it's not going to go over well with anyone to lose when the talent to win is in place. One can't keep giving away yards and extending drives for the other team and win when the teams are close in ability. I see it coming though. I will probably watch Alabama too. They have really been playing well. I agree that the Cubs should be able to beat Cleveland, but things don't always work out as they should. If this team can't win the World Series, I don't think the Cubs will ever win it again. You are welcome to the information about glasses. I'm glad that you were able to avoid having to wear them for so long. The animal communicator was able to get Prudence to admit that Woodee was ready to leave and was not upset when we went to the vet for the final time, but Prudence couldn't understand why Woodee would feel that way. The communicator got her to image the pain Woodee was in and that it was only going to get worse and she would still have died but with much more suffering. Prudence seemed to get it then. I have a suspicion that at least some of the yowling is her checking our obedience so that she can be sure we will do what she wants and nothing that she doesn't want. She may be anticipating the day she will be in Woodee's position and wants to be sure we will handle it as she wishes. I've always tried to look for signs that a dying cat is ready to go, and each one has managed to give me such a sign. I don't expect things to be any different with Prudence, but she may not want to take any chances. My shows that were on were great this week, but several were preempted by the debate. I hope The Walking Dead will not be as hard to watch as you fear. I hate when writers feel that characters must die in order to keep things interesting. I've never thought all that killing is necessary, and in some cases I've stopped watching when there was just too much of it. Have a good Caturday.

If he hasn't worked on fixing the penalties all season, I don't think Coach Houston has worked on them this week. They are going to end the same pathetic way they did last year. I hope UTEP will pleasantly surprise you. I'm not surprised about the Cubs' slap down of LA tonight. The Dodgers had trouble scoring all season. I just hope the Cubs have something for Cleveland. I can't stand the thought of putting anything into my eyes--have been like that all my life. Putting in drops is a serious ordeal with many drops wasted in the process. I've never wanted contacts. This is what keeps my glasses in place comfortably: https://wedgees.com/ They are hidden by the wearer's hair, and I have very short hair. This is an example of sunglass fitovers: https://fitovers.com/ Just Google sunglass fitovers and you will find them in all styles. They are not heavy and are comfortable, much more so than clip-ons. The people you work for are very good at saying what they know an employ that they need to do something wants to hear, but they don't seem to be very good at following through on their promises. As I've said before, those who are very good at something often are mistreated in an effort to keep them doing that even though they are very capable in other areas as well. They want you to train and don't care that it's unfair to keep you out of the manager's rotation. I think even Jones has realized how detrimental it would be to put Romo back in when the team is working so well with Prescott. Prudence is physically okay, but emotionally I'm not so sure. She continues to be very verbal about everything. If she doesn't think there's enough food in the bowl, she yowls, if she wants someone to sit down so she can be held, she yowls, and if something doesn't go to suit her, she yowls. She started this the day Woodee was helped to the Rainbow Bridge, and I know there is a connection there. I don't know if she's expressing grief or anger or both. It can get nerve wracking at times. She sometimes gets onto my pillow at night, puts her mouth right up to my ear and yowls. I figure she is lonely and is waking me up for company. She accepts pets for a while and then leaves the room. Guess you are looking forward to THE WALKING DEAD Sunday. Have a good Thursday.

You really think they killed off Glenn?!! I hope not!! He's one of my favorite's!! You are catching up on GoT. Good for you! What'd you think of it so far? I haven't really started to watch any thing new, or new seasons yet. Just keeping up with the one's I was watching. Like American Horror Story, The Strain, and The exorcist. I do plan on watching Lucifer tonight. He's hillarious! I've been soooo busy with the furniture. I started the work on the TV unit as well. As one dry's, I can paint the other. Borrowed a electric heater from my neighbor. Now it dry's a lot faster. And while I'm at it, I'm rearranging drawers and stuffs too. One thing leeds to another.... Don't you like glasses? I think I prefer glasses over contacts. I need reading glasses all the time. They're scattered throughout the house ;-) Can't read anything without them since a year and a half or so. We're getting old girl ;-) B-day party was a lot of fun as usual. How's work? Got a little more to do this week? Have a great Wednesday!! :-) *hugz*

No, JMU has done nothing to fix the penalty issue, and they almost lost that game. They have their bye this coming weekend and then homecoming against a team that everyone beats. After that they face Richmond, and they don't have a prayer of beating them, especially with all those penalties they constantly rack up. That will throw them so much that I expect them to lose the other two games they have left in the regular season after that. It will serve them right. The AD should have been all over the new coach to do something about fundamentals. I hope UTEP will play better after their extra time to work on things. Baker really is a bad manager. Maddon is great, and the Cubs will definitely win the pennant. The Indians are looking good too, but we'll see how Toronto plays at home. I was totally shocked when Roberts put Jansen into the game so early and then even more surprised when he went to Kershaw. However, Kershaw hasn't pitched the full season, so he is fresher than the others on the staff. He finally had a good playoff game tonight. None of the other Dodgers pitchers are that good, and they won't be able to win a game with only one run. I've needed glasses all my life, so they are second nature to me, but I understand that those who've been blessed with good vision early on are surprised to learn later that they now need them. If they bother you by sliding down your nose when you get them, I can tell you what to get to fix that. There are cool looking sun glasses that fit over glasses comfortably too (not clip-ons). I hope you will get into the managers' rotation where you belong. You man need to remind your manager about what you were promised. That's neat that you get to decorate your sections. It sounds like fun. I followed the JMU game and saw a little of the Clemson game yesterday and all of the Dallas game today. If Jones puts Romo back, someone needs to kidnap him and hide him away somewhere he can do no more damage. Jones is crazy, but I hope he's not that crazy. Have a good start to the week.

Paint still isn't completely dry! Takes forever to dry up in that cold attic!! Hope I can get the table finished by next weekend! Glad you finaly got around to watch some more GoT. I'm not that excited about the next TWD. I think it's not as great as it was any more. I am curious who's still alive though!! And how Maggie is doing. I am excited about the new series of Supernatural!! I really like The Strain. This would be the last season, but I really hope they changed their minds, and make another one!! You are so right about Hawaii. I totaly agree!! I still have Touch and The Following. But haven't started either one of those yet. I think I may drop those two shows as well. I'm sorry work is boring for you right now! But you'll be busy by the end of the year, preparing for the move! You have the usual weekend plans? I'm going to paint some more.... and more.... ;-) The usual grocery shopping, and my nieces birthday party next Saturday. That should be fun! She turns 18!! Have a fantastic weekend!!! *lots of hugz* :-)
