You spent your last coins on me? thank you so much...everybody has been so good in helping. I'm working on someone new's sets and she started with 6...that's 6 collectibles, not six sets...she's now up to 23 sets, and close to 200 collectibles. Have a few extra baseball gloves, do you? If you want to send a few my way, I'll be happy to take them off your hands. Are you going to collect any one special collectible, like a laptop or something? I'm collecting Happy Cat fireworks...if you decide, let me know and I'll put out the word.
Hi, jef2u, you've been so helpful finishing off peeps sets that I am here asking again..I have taken on someone who needs quite a few since she is new to the collectibles. Would I be able to ask for any or all of the following..Net Noobs New Computer, Here Lies Basement Cat, Mousetrap Paperweight and Crab Hat...thanks a bunch if you can help.
That's a good system. I keep a towel in my carrier too but my girls don't even think about going into the carrier under their own steam. Since bringing Soot back from the vets for the last time I have left the carrier by the front door just in case of an emergency but they both give it a wide berth. Happy Caturday !
I have that problem sometimes too and what i do is leave the cage upstairs and open for a few days...there is a towel in the bottom and it absorbs all the kitty smells in there when they go in and lay down. that way the cage always smells like all of them and the vet's office smell is in there too. they are a lot more accepting that way because whichever cat i am bringing home has already mixed some of the other kitties smells in with theirs.. i think we go around looking for them more than their furry brothers and sisters when they are gone.
When I brought Bella home from the vets office the vet warned me that Soot would not recognize her because she smelled differently from when she left the house and cats recognize each other by smell -not sight. Sur enuf, Soot took one sniff of Bella and hissed at her. She gave her a wide birth for about 4 days. Then 3 weeks later Soot goes in to the vets for about 5days and when she came back home Bella sniffed her and spat at her and she ignored her for about 4 days. It was sad to see. They both had awful weeks and then when they came home their BFF didn't recognize them.
It breaks your heart when they are sick. I had to put Nikki's brother Meemers (another silver aby, same father) down less than a month ago. You are very blessed to have yours running around causing trouble...my furniture, thankfully, is pretty much intact, but i can't say the same for some of my doorframes.... don't you just love when kitties get what I call "fly up the ass syndrome"?
what a compliment to your kitty...my avatar is my blue Aby, Mr. Blue...he sometimes is called by other names around here, but none that are allowed on this website. A true ladies man...I don't have Nikki (who my screen name is from) as my avatar since she is only one eyed and some people freak...i like to think she is winking at me all the time.
