I'm just glad to hear that things from the 70's don't qualify as antiques. I hope that extends to things from the 60s as well. Still, it's too bad you didn't wind up on the show. That would have been fun. I could see that experience winding up in one of your stories. At the very least it's worthy of a poem. I'll bet you won't be the first to ask the doctors when it's safe to pick up your furbabies again. That will be a milestone of your recovery.
Yup, an implant on one of my top front teeth. I had a cap on it that come off last weekend. The foundation tooth is compromised now. This is about as close to looking like a hockey player as I'll ever come. I had one done on a side tooth a year ago. I think I'm personally funding the dentist's college fund for his kid. A five pound weight limit is no fun. That will limit medicinal ice cream cones. How much does Weegee weigh? That may be the biggest downside of all. I suppose a bright side is a year ago we were very worried about Weegee and she dodged that bullet. I hope all is well with her.
Good lord, woman! I thought we agreed you weren't going to have any more medical crap going on and that your long overdue run of good luck was about to begin. With whom do I need to speak? Clearly you seem to be struggling with the idea of trauma free living. I have no doubt that you're trying but you're falling well behind the other kids in your stress free life class. I do hope your marks in this subject will show significant improvement and soon. Now seriously. That's an awful lot of crappy news. How long is the recovery/rehab time expected to be from the back surgery? I suppose the good news is that will give your ankle plenty of time to recover. News out here? Well, I about to start about six grand worth of dental procedures but I'll take that over what you're going through any time. I sure do hope things get better for you soon. This run of bad luck has got to end soon.
Great idea for the book club Jenny, I think we should just start making lolz for 'strange and unusual creatures. Years ago, I did a series of 'misidentified animals', together with cheezfriend Peregrin (who doesn't seem to be around anymore). We had lots of fun. Ifyou are interested: here is the cheezsite where I collected them all. http://misidentifiedanimals.cheezburger.com/
