About Me

I'm mom to 2 human daughters, 3 dogs, 7 cats, 32 rats, 22 gerbils, 3 bunnies, a chinchilla, 2 guinea pigs, 1 hamster, 1 squirrel, 3 bearded dragons (#4 coming home this weekend!), 3 leopard geckos, 1 Mali uromastyx, 1 Saharan uromastyx, 1 long tailed lizard, 1 tree frog, and a leopard frog. Let's NOT do the math on that, ok? lol I am an animal lover through and through, in case that didn't show. I'm also an advocate of "No Kill" and don't believe that so-called "shelters" are what they claim....

I'm also an advocate of "No Kill" and don't believe that so-called "shelters" are what they claim. How can they be considered "shelters" when they are basically death row for dogs and cats? My cats are rescues, and each has his or her own background story. Some of my other pets do, as well. I don't resent people who purchase or breed (except in certain situations) but I do strongly advocate adopting or rescuing when possible. Some of the "used" pets have SO much love left to give, and the joy they bring is something you will never forget.
