just wanted to say goo afternoon. It is afternoon there or is it evening? STay Safe
Happy Veterans' Day. Please convey my best wishes to your buddies, I'm proud of all of you. Please stay safe and know that you're in my prayers.
Hope you and your fellow soldiers stay safe. How long have you been in Iraq? will you get to come home soon? I hope you all know that we are thankful for what you are sacrificing for us to be safe. I don't know if enough people say that too you. Look forward to talking to you again. Take Care
I'm sorry, I forgot to say this: http://cheezburger.com/View.aspx?aid=2828336128
Re subtitle on your "Courage" lol: forget which commanding officer rallied the troops pinned down by German "burp guns." Said they had to fight their way up, out, and around because "There are two kinds of people on this beach. Those who are dead and those who are going to die!"
Thank you for accepting me as a friend and thank you for your service to our country. Stay Safe!
We're enjoying the eldest's amazement that dad and I might actually know something! It seems to have started with the beginning of his family. Middle son is in law school, so he still knows everything and you don't even have to ask for his advice. And youngest is the quiet observer - he plays his cards so close to the chest that we don't really know his opinion! We're immensly proud of them all. Listen, the housework bugle call has sounded and I must trot off to battle the dreaded dust bunnies. Please keep safe and we'll talk later.
All I can say is that it's a good thing that God sent me the survey card on the kid demo before #1 reached puberty! Nah, seriously it was interesting and I wouldn't have missed it for the world!
Sounds like a terrific family that you have there. Hubby and I raised our three in shifts. After the demo model reached 12 years, we decided on two more?! The 1st one hated being an only child and, when his brothers came along, said that we saited too long - he felt more like their uncle. The next two tried to give each other away! Sometime, you just can't win.
Thank you, that's so sweet. Actually, Father had a damn good run - WWII on the USS Indiana (his mother accepted his HS diploma for him since he was already at sea), Korea, Vietnam. And he was monitoring the Middle East and Desert Storm right up to the end. Yea, I miss him alot - especially as we enter the holidays. OK, 'nuf 'bout me; I want to hear about you!
My father would have been proud to correspond with you as well. He passed on in 1992, but USMC is stamped on my soul. By the by, you might want to take a peek at Kunou's lolz - he's got a tribute to Mother Corps on a pic of the Iwo Jima Monument. Keep safe and we'll stay in touch.
Hi there, tnx for friending with me. My father retired after 30 years in USMC, so I'm really luving your lolz. Please stay safe, know that I'm proud of all our military, and keeps the humour coming! K, bye!
Typos! "parodies inspired *my* ICHC member names." should be "parodies inspired *by* ICHC member names."
Your "system" is the same as mine! The organized guys/gals must be in the minority. Am I doing well? Doing well at lol-ing, if nothing else. I created a silly blog of song parodies inspired my ICHC member names. (http://profile-lols.blogspot.com/) The inspiration arises either from conversations we've had, or solely from an obvious rhyme. In your case, the only obvious idea is Pink Floyd's "Welcome to the Machine." (As in, "cog on the machine.") But do take a look at the blog whenever you get around to it, and tell me what you think. (No rush!!) Best wishes right back at you.
Aloha. You look like a man scrambling to catch up. I'm curious if you are going about the business of finding lols you like systematically or randomly, as your efforts remind me that I don't really have a system of my own. Best, cua
Life doesn't let you on here much, so I hope you enjoy every minute here when it does. Stay safe, good night.
Re "if you can't keep smiling so people wonder what you have been doing.": I try for the Cheshire Cat look, but it doesn't always work. Stay safe, thanks for the note.
OK, doing my part to "support the troops," I've captioned one of your pictures. Caption is a direct steal from a David Lee Roth line in the Van Halen song "Change." (That's my only non-cat lol, so you should be honored. ;) http://cheezburger.com/view.aspx?ciid=5037029
Ohai! Thanks for the friend-accept and favoriting, I appreciate the implied compliment.
