Well, we are told to go out into all the world and preach the Gospel...it means our own neighborhoods, as well. I am not a born door knocker, though. It's not as much a waste of time as you might think. It does plant a seed in people. But I don't "knock" you not liking knocking. I live a block from a JW Kingdom hall, and 3 blocks from a Mormon church...I get all sorts of door knocking in the year, let me tell ya! :) Sometimes, I even pretend not to be home.
I'll take that as a compliment since it's the same thing I tell my own kids. Just be yourself, and everyone who doesn't like it can bugger off! :) People shouldn't come on here to be judgemental of othere that are on here. We all come here to make fun of people that are NOT on here! ;)
And people are always going to hate. Don't ever let that change who you really are. If you are secure in your beliefs, then just let 'em hate because it doesn't matter at the end of the day! :)
I don't much like having the JWs and Mormons beat down my door, either. And the members of the Baptist church I go to are non-agressive when it comes to door knocking. They are happy to just invite a person to church and hand them a tract and say good night. But I am very glad to know you! I am a very sarcastic personality, so if I ever offend you, it was by accident. It's really hard to define sarcasim in print, LOL.
Hey, Obama is running your nation, so I should be the one telling you to live long and prosper. I live in Israel. we were already walking the path of imminent destruction(our good friend Obama is just helping us by looking for shortcuts).
Oh, my husband also has an Aunt in the Bay area....and she's the neighborhood crazy cat lady!
Ok, I can deal with you not being Baptist, as I am, BUT only because you are conservative, ;) LOL. And besides, my sister dated one of the original Dr. Who's in the early '80s, so I guess I'll give you a pass there, too.
I used to think we were few and far between on here, but our numbers are growing and we are finding each other. Give Obumble another year and it will be a stampede as even the diehard liberals realize what a disaster he is.
