Thanks so much! You're right, wanting is often better than getting, but even if this was completely explained to them, and they understood that the red dot might disagree with them, nearly every cat out there would still swallow the red dot if they had a chance.
A friend once told me this story. Her family had a station wagon and the kids rode in the very back (pre seat-belt era). When they fought, Dad would slam on the brakes, the kids would roll to the front, and he would swat. Then he'd hit the gas and they'd all roll to the back again. I suspect embellishment. :-)
That's why were here (that and making LOLs). We're a community of like minded folk that pick each other up when needed. I wouldn't know many of you if I saw you on the street and none you would know me, but behind the avatar, there a real, caring person. I got a lot of strength from this community when I lost my dad to ALS in November of '14.
