Yikes! Have you tried using Mozilla Firefox? Ya know, we almost never have problems with it. And AdBlocker is a gift from heaven! NO pop-ups and almost always ad-free website pages! And.... it's all FREE. About the only site we consistently have trouble with is weather.com. We can't totally shut off the ads and yet we do have to shut off AdBlocker if there's a video we want to see. Go figure. Anywho, thanks again for faving Fleez. Looks like lots of folks liked it. :D We're off to visit the in-laws for a few days. See ya next week. Have a great 4th of July!

Mostly 'page not found' when I try to bring it up or 'Chrome can't find cheezburger' when I hit save. Aaarrgghh!

By Emerald63 on Jul 1, 2014 at 4:51 PM

Oh, there you are! And I'm still here, lol. I haven't had any trouble with the builder, other than a bit longer than usual getting it to come up initially, then sometimes a bit longer to show me previews or the final product. But to me that's waiting, not fighting. What sort of fighting are you having to do? I'll get back to you tomorrow about it, I'm going for real now. :)

Fleez....too funny!!! Yeah, I don't know what going on. There seems to be lots of stuff that is not going into the right 'slots' lately. From a programming point of view, I don't know how that's happening but hey, with cheezland, it's always something!! Thanks for the faves. Glad you liked em. I had to fight the 'builder' every step of the way!!

Fang-Q!! I be signin' off soon, so no worries if I don't answer a message from you just now. :)

Hey Mama! You got some good LOLs coming on this afternoon. Faved a bunch of 'em. Can I ask a favor? I've got another one of mine that won't show up on my DB when I fave it, thus no one is seeing it. Could you fave it so it can make the rounds? Also, does this ever happen to you? http://cheezburger.com/8240562176

See there? You did it again! Well, a good chuckle. Thanks for sending that along. :)

Like I said, it's me, not you. Thanks for what you said, but honestly, I don't want *you* to feel bad! I really meant it when I said looking at it would be helpful. And it's a lot easier/better/more helpful to see a reminder that was made with love and humor, instead of some dopey motivational poster that is meant to look down on you. So... short story... PLEASE don't feel bad! (((Hugs)))

By mamawalker on Jun 28, 2014 at 4:03 PM

Ya know...sometimes the humor JUST GOES WRONG. Out of the blue. I could (and should) have easily titled that one The World According to mamawalker! So sad that I made you feel bad. I apologize, my friend.

By Emerald63 on Jun 28, 2014 at 3:59 PM

Gee... I guess I realize now how bad I feel about myself and my procrastination. I know you meant the LOL humorously so it's not you, it's me. Sigh. I did get going there for a while a month or two back, but now it's really hot and humid and even the AC doesn't take care of all of it. Just want to do nothing, ya know? On the upside, I can look at that LOL and it'll do for me what your maintenance inspection did for you, which is actually a good thing. Bleh. I feel like this is accusatory, but it's not. 'Kay... I'll just stop now...

YAY - u passed! Didjoo gets a prize? Srsly, I know what you mean about needing help to quit procrastinating. And go figure... my needing to say Tarsier FP Gratsez *again*!

By mamawalker on Jun 26, 2014 at 1:40 PM

Thanks for the Tarsier Gratz!! How many times? Well, 2 actually...here's the other Tarsier FP: http://cheezburger.com/6287110144 LOL!! PS...The Inspection was actually more of a maintenance type thing than housekeeping! Besides, it gave me cause to quit procrastinating about stuff!! :D PPS...I passed!!

By Emerald63 on Jun 25, 2014 at 2:51 PM

Tarsier FP Gratsez, Mama! (Wow, how many times does a person get to say *that*?!) Those little guys are just so fun looking. Have you ever seen the "True Facts" series of videos. Hysterical! Here's the one on the tarsier: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Jz0JcQYtqo. Also, I have a magnet with a drawing of one of them. The caption reads "Oh F*ck, the acid is kicking in. Jesus Christ, the walls are melting." Yup, they're weird little critters, lol. :D

By Emerald63 on Jun 23, 2014 at 6:03 PM

Annual maintenance inspection? Is this for an apartment complex or assisted living? Argh! I can't imagine someone else coming in to "grade" my housework! Although... it might get me off my duff about it, lol. No... then again, I *know* I couldn't cope with folks judging the way I live in my own home. My sympathy to you. Best of luck on not getting "the Russian judge" to pass/fail you!

By mamawalker on Jun 23, 2014 at 12:19 PM

LOL!! Thanks, Em! Sounds like you had a great time! All I did was some forced Spring cleaning. Yes, I am a procrastinator. Forced because we have annual maintenance inspections this week, so I had to do something about the dusting that I always put off and kitty hair under the bed and the corners of walls where the cats rub....my supposedly CLEAN cats...that end up grungy with whatever. And, of course, the vacuum was involved so the cats glared at me all night. Happy Moanday, my friend and thanks for the gratz!! :D

Dublol Kitteh Gratsez!! We noze frum stoopy mousez in owr house. We had a lot of rain last year, after several years of drought. Consequently we have mice again for the first time in years. Our 7-year-old, Meara (the oldest of the four) has brought down 2 already... but not easily. Little buggers disappear into the tiniest spaces, durn it! ++ Wichita and my best friend were nice yesterday. We saw how her place is coming along (moved a few months back after her boyfriend - who owns their old place - dumped her after a dozen years. I took her my DVD portfolio to peruse and borrow from, as well as some books. She's got tons of both, but has seen/read it all before. We went to dinner and then watched one of the DVDs. Nice day. :) How 'bout you?

Happy Solstice to you as well! I went out on the balcony last night at 10pm and read the funnies without a light just cuz!!

By Emerald63 on Jun 21, 2014 at 1:05 PM

Whoa there, hold your horses! I was only half done with my Solstice LOL! I greatly appreciate your enthusiasm, but you'll need to fave the finished product - http://cheezburger.com/8230583552 - as I've already deleted the intermediary one. :D

By mamawalker on Jun 21, 2014 at 12:22 PM

Thanks for the gratzeez, Em!! Have fun!!

WOW! A goggie and TWO kitteh FPs!! WOOOOT!!! ++ Thanks for saying pretty much the perfect thing in reply to my last message. My best friend is the same way about Hugh Laurie. :) I hope your 2 friends are doing as well as can be expected. Treatments have progressed somewhat, even between when my mom was diagnosed and when she passed. I imagine in the 7 years since then there's been yet more progress, at least I hope so. And yes, worry *is* harsher because it involves fear. When you're in a situation you can't change and you fear it and its outcome, it takes your attention away from everything else *and* saps your energy while doing it. There was no "good" solution to Ruby and James joint situation once James got hurt. Sometimes happenstance is cruel beyond measure. It's a comfort, though, that he's learning just how much he's loved and by how many people. ++ You have yourself a nice weekend. I'll do likewise, going to visit my best friend down in Wichita. :)

Getting ready to go feed the kitties but saw your msg. I know lupus quite well myself from 2 dear friends. But I'll pretty much fave any pic of Hugh Laurie (Black Adder is still one of my all-time favorites). Every once in a while something here reminds me of my Mom and makes me miss her. but I keep plugging away and try to channel the funny to her. She SO would have loved ICHC! I am very sorry for James, as well. But maybe in some way, this might help. Ruby is out of pain. And I think worry is a much harsher emotion than sorrow and James needs all of his strength right now, don't you think? Anyhow, here to Wombat and the chuckles! TTYL :D

Hi Mama. Saw your Sauron-with-pink-eye LOL. Tell me about it! I had it really bad a while back, only to find out that it was waaay worse than it should've been because I was *allergic* to the polymixin-b!!! Turns out I can't use it on my skin, either. The eye doc had to prescribe a special order eye drop alternative that woulda cost me something like $85 for a tiny tube if we didn't have good inusurance. Still wasn't cheap, though. So yeah, I guess Sauron actually gets my sympathy this time, lol. ++ I guess it's been sort of a bad day here at ICHC in some ways. First, I heard about AOCH's sweet Ruby crossing over. Sigh. That poor man's life is way too much like a country song lately. :( Also, I saw the Dr. House LOL you faved. It's an old meme that I'm used to, but I hadn't seen it in some time and it totally got to me; my mom died of lupus. That's not to say you should unfave it - not at all! Like I said, I had to get used to it if I wanted to be at online humor sites. Just haven't seen it in a while is all. And a lot of the time it just irritated me, because a lot of people have no idea what lupus can do to a person. But for some reason it made me really sad and missing her today. Maybe (probably) because of hearing about Ruby. ++ I'm just gonna go mentally replay the Wombat running into that pole for a while. I know darn well that'll cheer me up... hell, I'm even smiling right now! :) And thanks for the kitteh fave a bit ago, too.

Note to self: avoid Butte until August... ++ One reason I love that story about Wombat so much is that she was *so* pretty - slender, light blond hair, blue eyes, *and* she was athletic, smart and spoke her mind, too. So there was someone who had "the whole package" and she ended up doing something not only totally embarrassing but also endearing. It's fun and sweet seeing a friend go glassy eyed and drooling when they see their "perfect man," amiright? Me, I just stop breathing for a minute. Hence, my calling The Best of The Best "breathtakingly" handsome.

By mamawalker on Jun 18, 2014 at 4:20 PM

LOL! I loved that lol and I'm glad you free-associated into a giggle your-own-self. I'm pretty sure we all knew someone like the Wombat! There just had to be someone who made us feel better about ourselves, amirite? Yes, the snow is all gone here in town. Still quite a bit on the Ridge (which IS the Continental Divide). So, Butte is in southwest Montana, about 2 and a half hours from Yellowstone Park and about 4 hours SSE of Glacier Park. In other words....the purty side of the state! Eastern Montana is flat, way too cold, and windy, with nothing but wheat, cows and rodeos. I like where I am but yes, it does snow at least once every June.

By Emerald63 on Jun 18, 2014 at 4:01 PM

Hey Mama! Just saw that you faved this one, about kitteh needing glasses: http://cheezburger.com/1811203840. I just had to share one of my favorite stories, about a college friend walking straight into a pole. She didn't need glasses, though, she was too busy dropping her jaw about a guy she was scoping out and - swear to God - she walked right into the pole. I about lost it. Her real last name was Womble, but everyone at the dorm called her "Wombat." So walking into the pole didn't help her any... Still, laughed my ass off... shame on me. ++ So, is that SNOW you got yesterday still around? WTH? Just how weird is it for you to have that in mid-June? And I thought you lived in the eastern part of MT, but a message of yours I ED said you're on the Continental Divide. Isn't that in the western part, where the big mountains are? Anyway, it's Just.Plain.Wrong that you had snow, no two ways about it!
