Thank you. It has been rough for all of us. I completely believe you about the visitation. What gets me through is my belief that it isn't goodbye but until we meet again.

I like the concept of "Saw", but not the movie. I like a lot of Psychological horror.

I don't think I've ever read instructions for a computer, except for how to hook it up, lol. I've never used a pad, or even a laptop. You have a text function on the iPad, right? I'd bet you have copy/paste, then. Do you have a menu bar? Look to see if it has a "Help" option. Choose that then do searches for "copy" and "paste." I can't imagine it's too different from other Macs. I'm on a Mac desktop. Most of what I've learned has been trial and (lots of) error(s) along with tips from friends. Sometimes I use "Help" but sometimes it's about as much use as a screen door on a submarine. Then again, sometimes it does the trick. Just gotta try and see what happens. :)

Hey Ho! I know from "poof" so I learned a looong time ago to highlight and copy **everything** before I hit "post" at *any* site. That way if it doesn't show up I can just past it and try again. Takes a while to get into the habit, but it's worth the effort. And thanks for keeping on trying! (Hug)

From what Sylvia said it sounds like Mother Nature "paves over" the whole area all on her own! What a shame you don't live there anymore - you two could hang out! I know what you mean about things changing... in 1981 when I first moved to the town where I went to college the population was 50,000 - 25,000 students and 25,000 permanent residents. The total population is now around 100,000, even though the number of students is pretty much the same. And what used to be a bastion of liberalism and progressivism (the only one the state, dammit) is more and more falling to the moneyed interests of conservative commuters who sleep there but work in The Big City about an hour away. I haven't spent any time there other than passing through for years. I can only hope at least some of the young, idealistic students are keeping the last remaining embers of the liberal past going somewhere, waiting for the day when there's once again a semblance of balance in the civic arena. Um, yeah... sorry. Former hometown memory overload... Are you far from Bend these days?

You're so close to the mountain, figured it was pretty darn cold there. We've made that drive over the mountain a few times in the winter. We've been taking care of gkids since last Thus, until thi coming Thus while son is lolling on beache in Costa Rica :) He picked good time to be gone. Kids are happy this morning - no school. 5- inche of snow the other night like you and freezing rain last night made for ome treacherous roads. Spending nights here and going home during the day to take care of business and the cats. We crawled to out house yesterday to put out extra litter box and lots of kibbles not knowing when we would be able to get back . What is normally a 25 min drive took us over an hour white knuckling all the way ) Hopefuly this afternoon or tomorrow we can get back home. Sending u sum razzleberry flaboring for dat sno cone. lub and warm hugz

I had a friend in college that HATED Basketball Jones. One day, feeling nawty, I pumped some coins into the jukebox in the student hangout and played it 3 times in a row. I thought he was going to kill me :)
