I had a cat who would climb on to my lap while I was knitting. When I got to the end of the row I needed to lift him so I could turn my work. He would growl and bite me if he wasn't finished sitting on me. I had to learn to slowly stand up, which would cause him to have to hop off me.
I'm sorry it's upset you so. Mebbe I should not make so many comments on people's LOLs -they're not being replied to and now this one has upset you. *gets a tissue and wipes away ur tears*. Now listen: you are doing everything hoominly possible and dat's moar dan enuf. Please be strong and ignore those scams. Just repeat, "I don't have any extra now". Or, report them. http://www.americanhumane.org/animals/stop-animal-abuse/fact-sheets/reporting-internet-animal-abuse.html. You keep that munnies for yourself for when ur animals need vet care. I understand what kind of horror there is coz it's happening in mai neighborhood too. The neighboring city has a reservoir of FeLV and those animals are being dumped here. Anyway, ai know what u mean, take em all home. But where would ai be then? Not able to properly care for any of them. The best answer I have to that, is insist they get spayed and neutered. And if anyone tells me, Oh look at that poor kitty, we should feed him, I say No. Not unless we follow through with trap-neuter-release. Oh it is so hard to say no. But there is one other thing that might help. When you go in to play with the adoption kitties, take their pictures, and get the shelter to post their pictures on their cages and on the shelter website. You may find out that kitties get adopted faster when people can see just how cute they can be, even though the kitty is powered down for a nap. That would be a good use of paper. :D
I was talking about this one of yours: http://cheezburger.com/8222100992. I thought I saw it on the FP. I know someone's LOL with that pic made it to the FP. Anyway, "salad days" refers to one's youth and I meant it about all the grass kitteh has in his mouth, er mouse, no... mouth. I think. :P
