Thank you for letting me know the blue pill makes you laugh. I have to admit that I laughed myself when I saw the LOL completed, and that doesn't happen often. I hope things are well with you. It won't be much longer before you go into spring, my favorite season.
Here's another interesting fact about the Hobby Lobby Supreme court ruling. The 5 male Justices that were in the majority ALL happen to be Roman Catholics!! I think that maybe their religious beliefs influenced their decision that negatively impacted women on religious grounds. I hopes dat your kittie Suzie doesn't get too cold when she ventures outsides. She'll probably need some pets and snuggles when she comes back in. And, of course, some noms.
Oh, that Hobby Lobby decision was from our Supreme Court and just came out recently. For the first time the Supreme Court ruled that a closely held corporation (Hobby Lobby) could claim on religious grounds to deny women some methods of birth control in their insurance. That means that women now working at Hobby Lobby must find that coverage elsewhere or pay for it out of their own pocket. The decision can potentially be expanded to partnerships and other business forms of organization. Also, the religious grounds can also potentially expanded to many other areas where a religious objection can be raised. For example, Jehovahs Witness don't approve at all of blood transfusions! The Court decision had 5 men in the majority, and 3 women and 1 man in the minority opinion. So it is interesting to note that not a single woman on the court agreed with the all-male majority. The ruling is viewed by many as discrimination against women, and is not widely supported. *** And about those 2 Global Warming stories, I find them amusing because they contradict the widely held view in favor of Global Warming. Did you know that back in the 1970's there were newspaper headlines and stories about an approaching Ice Age! That's what the climate scientists believed back then! Now they've switched their tune, and claim it's Global Warming instead of an Ice Age. You have to take their "scientific" pronouncements with a big grain of salt and skepticism. Maybe I'll do a Global Warming/Ice Age LOL showing the contrast/contradiction. Where I live, in my state of Wisconsin, we had a very brutal winter. Our Spring has also been cool. But it's finally starting to warm up now with summer. What kind of weather are you having now and what season are you in? Is it still summer there? ..I hope dat Suzie is doing very well, and you too. Are you doing OK with that ankle brace? Is it more comfortable now? Could you stick some material like cloth between the brace and your ankle to make it more comfortable? It's not too heavy, is it? Isn't it made out of a light material?
Oh noes! I bet you're rite that Grumpy didn't fink about fewer hoomins means fewer can openers! I know I didn't fink of dat either.. Yu ar bery smart.. I gues dat would mean dat each hoomin must den take care ob many kitties at the same time.. Oh mai, the hoomins would probably goes crazy tryin' to do all dat! aifinkso
