What a drag that they stopped those traditions just as you were to graduate. My high school held graduation on campus for many, many years. A senior prank done by my class caused graduation to be take inside at the auditorium of a local community college. It was harmless enough...there were some kids that formed something they called revoltariansim. Beyond writing bizarre quotes on chalkboards and signing it "the revoltarians" they never really did anything. However, in the middle of our graduation ceremony a plane flew over trailing a banner which read "Revoltarianism Lives!" It was pretty harmless but it was enough to move graduation inside for 31 years. This year they finally resumed outdoor graduation on campus. That would have been scary as hell having your son in NYC on 9/11. I'll bet you were frantic until you heard from him. I suspect that was not the pearl of wisdom he was hoping for when you clued him into how much of life works. That's not too long to wait for Millie's stroller. She'd probably think it was taking forever if she knew it was coming. You didn't tell her, did you? The ribs were good last night...better than dinner tonight. I smoked some pork chops for the first time. The smoke and the new rub worked well but the chops got a bit dried out. I'll try again tomorrow night but brine them first. That always helps with maintaining the juiciness. I typically plan on doing a new recipe again the following night since there are always tweaks I want to make. Does Millie try to drag you off to bed? My friend, Faupaws, is dragged to be every night by her cat Elf.

I don't want to sound stoopy but what is the RR? Linda has my email address and my phone number, I don't mind if you have them. It would be kind of nice to talk to you via email or phone or both. I am very careful who I give my phone number to. It is very ok for my Georgette to have it. I have had a busy day, my sister and I went shopping for cat and kitten supplies. Peta brought mama cat's mama back this afternoon and was going to put her outside and turn her loose because she is feral. That did not work for us and we told them so, a cat that was spayed this morning needs rest, we put her in a large cage with food, water, bedding and litter and will keep her there at least two days. We gave a donation as expected and they said they were not going to test her for FIV or other disease so we would know if the kittens were ok. When they brought her back they brought a folder showing they did have her tested and she was negative. They said the Vet that did her spay said she was PREGNANT! Her kittens are only 8 weeks old. One of her kittens that we hadn't caught drags it's back leg and they wanted to put it down. They put out a trap and we took it out and hid it before they came back. I looked at it's leg tonight, it is so pitiful. It is not in any pain just scared due to never having human contact before. We are going to have a yard sale to pay for it's Vet bill. Darn, I wrote another novel. I don't like PETA but have to use them for the ferals. They will never take get their hands on these kittens we have tamed. Luv you sweet Georgette from Georgia. Y.O.M

That is my actual and original quote from senior year where we were asked to offer a quote. It was published in the school newspaper along with our "last will and testament". That was kind of a fun tradition where you could offer some final sentiments to friends that you'd likely be leaving behind. The funny thing is how naive I was back then. I was oblivious to it at the time but many of the last will and testaments of other students were laced with drug references. I had no idea. I read it a few years later and light bulbs were going off all over the place. Poor Doxies...two dogs long and half a dog high. It just proves that even our woofers with challenges still find a way to worm their way into our hearts. A pink leash, eh? I could certainly do it but I'd have to have the proper motivation. That would not include doing it for a family member. It would very likely have to come as a result of a desire on my part to curry some favor with an attractive female. Yeah, I'm very much a guy on that score. So shoot me. Retrievers retrieve and guys will do all kinds of silly things to try to get a gals attention. It's not pretty sometimes but instincts keep the species alive. Did you survive your dinner? It can be challenging to bring something together when the pantry is lean. That alone will drive us out of the house on a shopping trip. I'm having leftovers tonight. I smoked some ribs yesterday so I'll be gnawing on bones again tonight. You're not alone in your desire to look for simple solutions to meals. There's no shame in that at all. I hope you get your BAK RR shot soon. You'll do great.

I'm glad you liked those LOLs. They put up some good pictures to work with. I hated to caption the Goldie and the kitteh since there's really no way to improve upon the picture. It's just too cute. Is BAK RR back on? I saw an episode 8 floating around. I hope it gets going again as I'm anxious to see what everyone does with the story line. You would have to work far harder than the men and sports line to offend me...not that offending me should be a goal but you didn't come close with that one. That's a good phrase you coined. I don't doubt it came in handy. Doxies are notoriously hard to train, aren't they? My niece has a couple and she has doggie diapers on them as they're not reliable in the house. Yap dogs...snerk...you're right about that. I do prefer my big breeds and there are a few I would consider but there is a little cutey that won me over when we were going through obedience training. There was a little King Charles Cavalier in our class that was just a little love bug. She was so sweet and well behaved. Mind you it could never be MY dog and I wouldn't want to be seen walking it but if some gal showed up that had a little Cavalier that I could love on behind closed doors, that wouldn't be too bad. Neither of those are a goal, though. It's just the circumstance that a little dog could find its way into my home. I can see where a kitteh stroller could be ideal for Millie. Since she already loves the walks and this would give her greater vision I think it's a great idea.
