A while back ( don't know if you were here then) some of the lols were really starting to get raunchy....so an " After Dark" site was put in along with a filter of choice. You see.....all the things your friends fave will pop up on your dash, and some of my friends faved things I didn't want to see on my dash. And honey, I'm no prude!..but this place is all about puppies & kitties...cute, innocent, silly, happy, funny animals. You can always count on a smile & laugh when you cruise thru here! Plus many good friends!! Mary Ann
So nice to meet you & your lovely cat. This is a cat & dog place of happiness....so many animal lovers in one place! Was just checking out your lols...they're great...don't cha just making lols? they are such a hoot to make........mary ann
No, it doesn't appear that anyone else has had any trouble getting to my quote. I'm sorry that you couldn't view it. :( I do have one friend, who in the past, repeatedly had trouble getting to my quotes though. I am not sure why. One problem could be if you include the quotation marks that show in the message on your dashboard, if you copy and paste or right click to 'go to' the link.
Oh no, I am so sorry. I didn't see any of them until I looked at your lol's. It is very bad when anyone loses a beloved pet. I am glad you like my crazy wit, when it stops you will know I'm down for the count. - . - Lub, Millie o
Hi Deb, I haven't seen the "F Bomb" come across my dashboard yet but I was late getting on tonight. I may have to follow your lead with the "Ax!" I don't want to sound dumb but why are cheez peeps sad? Hugs, Millie
This is driving me crazy. I'm looking for a picture... in a yard, cat in the foreground, dog in the background sprawled out on his back in the grass, piece of PVC on the ground between them.. have seen it 100s of times. now I need it and can't find it. :/
:) I'm sure that Venus and Dinah are having fun. I'm very sensitive to things like that. It's funny. When Dinah died I was there with her. She waited for me to get home from work. And I held her and cried when she passed over the Bridge. I felt her trying to stay. I told her to go, it was OK. I have had this experience now 4 times. It happened at first with my family's 3 labs when I went with my Dad to put them down. I knew before the vet told us they were gone that they were gone. My dad is sensitive too, but not as sensitive as me. I held each dog's head in my arms when they left. Too me that was a bittersweet moment for me. It felt good to be there to tell them goodbye, but at the same time I felt like I had lost a child. I still miss them so much.
I'm like you. I cry very easily if an animal is hurt or a friend very sick. Tookat says I am an empath. I think I am in training for it. It's in complete contrast to my normally sarcastic self, but that's the way it is. Just because I am sarcastic and prefer that type of wit doesn't mean I don't have a heart.
I'm from Missouri mostly but I lived in Idaho 6 years. I just ax people that send too much stuff to my dashboard that I don't like... it hurts my numbers, but I don't do this for numbers. I just like to make people laugh and smile. Most of my stuff I repost someplace else because a lot of it I do for other people that have a picture of a pet or a horse they want to have captioned and they seem to like the way I see things in animals. I usually try to let the animals expression/body language tell the story. If I try to force one or caption everything I see they just don't come across as funny to me.
It was truly, truly sad. Little Dexter fought so long but he had some sores that just would not heal and he got weaker and weaker. There is a site, or there used to be called Dexter's Coalition. It tells the whole story, but don't go there if you cry easily. I do. It took about a year for this to finally get sentencing. She denies it although a little 7 year old boy went crying to his mother about her hitting the kittens. Why, is beyond me.
