Thank goodness the storms passed us by, a couple tornadoes touched down in nearby towns. We are getting rain from the storms and it is chilly today. Hope you are safe! I will shoot you an email tonight. Y.O.M.
Thanks for checking in. :) To save time I will C&P our situation: The really bad stuff is supposed to hit us any time now. Highest risk for F2-F5 tornadoes, large hail, straight line winds, flash floods from 2:00 PM (Central) this afternoon through 6:00 AM tomorrow morning. The threat is so serious there is no school today. We're in NW Alabama. I'll check in when able but our power just glitched a few minutes ago, so it will most likely go out as this gets worse (if it does get worse... :) maybe we will luck out).
It is good to get out and enjoy some fresh air...particularly if you feel the apartment is small. 1am is an interesting time to slip out for some air. I can appreciate it for the chance to peek at our nocturnal friends but I prefer to be sound asleep at that hour. Roxie's little adventure would have set my teeth on edge. I'd have gotten worried about her being out there with the critters. That's sad news about Sam. Based on what you'd said previously it's not a big surprise but it's still tough to see things move to that stage. I hope he finds peace.
