I was driving to work the end of February. It was a nice sunny dry day for a change. I heard a loud boom, my car stopped and I saw bits of debris flying in the air. I looked down and was trying to figure out why there was a large log on my car when the "log" moved. For an animal lover like myself to hit a deer has been devastating. Never saw the deer. The car behind me hit a dog that apparently been chasing the deer. The dog ran off but the deer did not. That was the only accident Ive been behind the wheel in all the years I've been driving. Someone else was coming to work the other day and saw a deer standing in the road in the same spot. This is a main road but old farmland lined with plenty of places for the deer. I see deer out my back door in the mornings.
Aw, I wish the news was better, but I'm hoping it won't be so long now before we see ya back and feeling much better! Keep thinking up those lols, Deb, and I'll be hoping for some good news from ya soon!!
n thinking of you. Almost spring I can feel it in my bones. We were thinking of moving south as you know in a few years but if this trend continues may have to move to Africa to avoid snow. Now that thee snow has melted everything is loaded with sand and filth. I see a lot of work this spring (if ground thaws) in the yard. Finally got my car back from the body shop. They did a wonderful job. My first accident behind the wheel in all thoes years and it had to be with a beautiful innocent animal. Anyway dont put the flipflops on to soon.

From Sylviag. Many thanks for participating in the KKPS Olimpiks by making, faving or just enjoying the creativity. If I forgot anyone, I sincerely apologize as it takes many hours, often late at night to compile the info and stats and mistakes may have been made :) http://cheezburger.com/8083580928
Every 20 years. We got a surprise blizzard yesterday into the night. Lots of high drifts. Pretty until we all got out and shoveled and plowed. The snow is pilling up and up. Roads are fine but our yards are loaded with snow. Was thinking about you. My daughter called on her way home from work asking if I needed anything and I told her cornbread. Yummy.
Glad you have power. Sometimes the weather channel scares me but they just want people to be prepared in case. I have a spray bottle of prestone deicer. One morning last month my car was frozen shut. I just sprayed where the door is attached to the car and it opened right up. Must leave a coating hasnt done it since. I remember one night a few years ago. I struggled home from work only to find my storm door frozen. It was dark and blizzard like. I just pounded on the latch until it finally opened. What a lonely feeling that was. Duh I should have sprayed that before I left for work. We will survive too.
I'm glad to hear that your utilities are hanging in there. That sure allows one to focus on the beauty rather than the harsher potential realities. Winter is best viewed from inside a window...near a roaring fire...with your favorite hot beverage. Paws had already EDd here so she could learn if you were okay and she was quite relieved...we sure have some good peeps around here.
