His BD is 4/3. That would be a bit soon for me. LOL! I am aiming toward the beginning of may or end of april. we shall see. He's all fired up to hurry up and get married. lol. :D I am too actually. I told him I do want to get the whole dress thing since I didn't do that my first wedding. lol.
When's his BD? My 'nephew-in-law to be' told my niece to pick the first Sat. after his BD--that way, he said, he'd always have a couple of days to 'prepare' for their anniversary! You can do it on MY BD!, but that's Mothers' Day this year!
I can do that! :D I will be glad to. :D Yeah, I am happy with it. It's amazing. I never thought we would actually end up getting married, but here we are 17 years later. IT's awesome! I will send you the details. :D I have to wait til I get home though. I can't do personal email at work. :(
Oh Hon! Just got on & EDed you'd lost your "Harriet"! We've talked about these losses for a long time now, so I hope you KNOW just how sorry I am & that I know how badly you are hurting! I didn't even know you had a "Harriet", but you're a friend & your hurts is my hurts. Been wanting to fuss at you about no emayos with details, but sure now you've had way too much going on! Lubs&Hugs&Prayers! Deb
Was going to email you last night, Deb. Passed out early. Well, I decided... he's never on cheezburger. So I would post the pic on here as a Christmas card. :D What he don't know won't hurt him. :D Hey, I kept the promise to him that I would not put it on Facebook. :D He didn't say anything about Cheezburger. 0:)
Awww Deb! Hugs right back. Thanks, that pic was when I had long hair, I basically look the same it's just shoulder length now. I look like my mom and my dad. lol. I have my dad's brown eyes and eyebrows. :D
she was a short little brown tabby who was built like a tank. She was all of 8 inches tall at the shoulders and built like a little bowling ball. I got her from my vet. She had been hit by a car and had a shattered hip. Our vet was able to fix it. My dad adopted her for me for a Christmas gift, I was still mourning the lose of our 2 Siamese kitties that died a few months before. Well, long story short, she had a pin in her leg, which moved with her. and would stick out of a small hole in her hip as she moved. Well, when I took her back to the vet to have it removed, they called me in the back showing me the x-ray. The vet asked me what was missing, I said... the pin. The little fart had pulled it out and had been jumping up and off the bed with a broken hip. She was just a little kitten and you can't stop them from jumping. lol. Her hip did heal straight which was good. Hey, if I don't respond when you message me back, I've probably headed home. :) I'm sending this on my work computer.
Sounds like Venus was quite a character. loved the story! Especially the gumming part and the being held down for loving. :P lol. too cute! Well Dinah had this lovely habit of rubbing my legs constantly, making it very hard to walk in my room. lol. And she only liked to be petted on her head, neck and back. Touching the stomach was a good way to come back with a bloody stump. She hated that, and also hated being kissed, being turned over on her back and numerous other little things that seemed to bother her. She had the funniest little meow, it was not normal she would go eh-oww. So cute, and man she was a one person cat. lol. I was blessed to be that person.
Hahaha! Dinah was the same way, bless her little furry heart. Those are the best cats. They are one person kittehs and were not afraid to show it. :P No one else could hold Dinah but me. I had carried her around on my shoulder since she was a little baby. :)
Wow, Deb, that is so sweet. Your story made me cry. :( I know how you feel being there with your kitteh when they die, it's never easy. I miss my little Dinah so much. She was my little Rat-Rat. Sounds funny, but she had a skinny little tail. My grandma kept calling her Ruthie Rat tail, and the name got shortened. My family has this funny talent of giving cats these cute little nonsensical names. :)
:) I'm sure that Venus and Dinah are having fun. I'm very sensitive to things like that. It's funny. When Dinah died I was there with her. She waited for me to get home from work. And I held her and cried when she passed over the Bridge. I felt her trying to stay. I told her to go, it was OK. I have had this experience now 4 times. It happened at first with my family's 3 labs when I went with my Dad to put them down. I knew before the vet told us they were gone that they were gone. My dad is sensitive too, but not as sensitive as me. I held each dog's head in my arms when they left. Too me that was a bittersweet moment for me. It felt good to be there to tell them goodbye, but at the same time I felt like I had lost a child. I still miss them so much.
