If u use convo view to compose ur mss like I do, u have to remember to copy and paste it to the main profile. despite my knowing that I did it the other day myself ) But can recover it by usingthe bac browser button at least. Nope, ew house in a new town. But now we are onyl 20 minutes away from son and gkids so it was a very good move. We moved MIL from assisted living in WA to here and she is loving it also. I bet that was an interesting experience to watch her surgery. Whenever we've had a femael kiteh spayed, the vet always says, to make sure she takes it easy - rly? If they are still half kittens, they do not know how to take it easy :) Glad to hear about ur knee, exept of course that it still hurts. Is there anything else they can do to alleviate the pain>. Oh m,y absolutely NO worries on a bdy card! i missed quite a fewof my frens's also with moving and settling in. We all understand that RL often must take first place and we catch up when we can. Yes, I fervently agree that this coming year has to be better than the last! O yes, please send any rescue and adoption stories to 1TeamKSO
Talk about being out of the loop. I would swear I sent you a message about your aunt. But I also spent a lot of time doing messages last night & 2 of those are not there! I know better than that! I saw your pics of 'a house' & EDed about moving. Are y'all leaving that beautiful home & gardens that had the cat walks or are those pics the inside of it? Yes, Roxie got spayed. I made that Lol to put on the vet's bulletin board, but there's so much more behind it that I'll have to catch everyone up probably in a comix. Did you ED from anywhere that the vet allowed me to observe the surgery? It was really interesting & virtually no blook. They don't have fallopian tubes & there ovaries are at the end of their uterus which looks like a nice juicy earthworm about 8-10 in. long but is bent in the middle to make it in the shape of a V. She was groggie the rest of the p.m., but was jumping up & down on the bed & sofa like she'd never had anything done. My knee is significantly better. Back to how it was before--hurts, but the other was almost unbearable & if it wasn't for my babies, I definitely would have been banging on the surgery room door! But the worst of it was not being about to make you a BD card. (nor jenny b.s.). Of all the people on this site, you deserve all the happy wishes, thanks, congratz, etc. for all the work you do & for helping along newbies. I didn't 'miss' your BD & have worried about it until now. I am truly sorry, but sure hope for a greater year as you've had quite a mess to deal with on the past one. And on another question: Is someone keeping the rescue stories, as I made a quick exit as they were coming out and are they still being accepted? Big Hugs & Lubs! Deb
Just saw Roxie's LOL. She looks like she is doing great and you sound like you are also. I assume that was for a spaying? Have been out of the loop so much because of our moving that I am catching tail ends and bits and pieces of various events :)
Hi sweet Syl! So sorry to hear about the tragedy. So glad your son has the kids, though it still will be very painful for them. With everything I know about you, you're the perfect grandma to help them through this. All of you are in my prayers for comfort, peace, strength & endurance! Much lubs & hugs! Deb
I had picked up ur cool comix from my DB already. Having a birthday here is just so much fun with people stopping by and making wonderful birthday LOLs. Thanks for the compliments on our home sweet home. It's been a lot of work this year but the major stuff is done and now just maintenance of flower and veg gardens which is a bit of work but fun. KKPS is end of skool year stuff like promo, yearbook, gradumacashun LOLs. and getting ready for Kamp Kuppykales which starts 1 jun. So jump right on in :)
http://cheezburger.com/7459808512 // It was a very beautimous day! And thanks so much for the card with such sweet words! That was much better than a cake--but I did get cake & here's some for my friends. BTW, thanks for the congratz from over a week ago & I LOVE your home & the gardens, flowers, cat enclosures! Now that is BEAUTIMOUS!!! BTW--Is there a new theme going on with KKPS? Miss a week & it's like starting from scratch! Lubs & Hugs! Deb
Thanks for the congrats :) Right now I am just collecting all the nominations and supporting LOLs in a special fave collection in KSO. Not sure yet what I want to do :) The event is from 1-5 May and maybe I'll do a comix of all the nominations and ask peeps to vote during that timeframe.
when I highlight a URL it will give me the option of opening up a new page and go right to it so I don't have to cut and paste. That's a real time saver for me when I am faving LOLs to profiles like KSO and Dr. TinyCatz Aw, fren don't deny urself the pleasure of giving a kitten a foreber home based on what u think ur longevity will be. U designate a family member or good friend to find another foreber home for any of ur babehs. Our son has that responsibility and we told him we will make his life miserable from wherever we are if he doesn't do it LOL Just kidding - he said he would honor our request of course. There are rescue shelters that charge minimal and there are always private people with batches of kittens that will advertise int he newspaper or I suppose Craig's List.
I had to download Google Chrome when they made the change. I don't like it as whenever I download anything, it doesn't give an ID #, but just says 'download'. Might have to do it again, though. I'm sure Millie would accept a kitten, but I'm afraid it would 'outlive' me & I don't want to put it through that. We very often have the maintenance men in for inspections, change the filters, etc., but I really don't think they would fib on me--I know 2 of them are BIG animal lovers. I don't have the $ to go to a shelter for one either.
No, just did it. I use Google chrome now and have no trouble with faving or moving LOLs into collection or creating LOLs. All problems I had when I used IE for ICHC (enough acronyms for ya :) A couple of years ago, as a result of all our elder kittehs passing we only had Lucy LuLu and she was an only for about a year and we really wanted another one for us and to keep her company when we were gone. Both the vet and the rescue shelter advised us to get a young kitten of the opposite sex as they will have the best chance of getting along. Mainly becuse baby kats are usually pretty fearless and older kittehs will not hurt a baby kat. Lucy never once put her claws out with Brodie and they bonded fairly quickly. The thing is if u get an indoor kitteh, no one there will really ever know ) I've had friends who had more than their allotted amount of cats in their apt or condo but since the people who could complain where never in the apt, no problem.
If so, then send it straight to me! I'm about at the point to get another cat no matter what the rules are here. I have been feeding a stray black cat (in case you haven't noticed, I hold a deep love for them) & am trying to make friends with it. Big problem will be Millie, though. She doesn't like cats, dogs, etc., & only people who will constantly stratch her head!
