Hi. I took myroom to the doctor this morning. It was determined to be trigger finger, the ring finger of her right hand. She got a shot in it, and she said that sees to help. If it gets worse, it may involve surgery. I hope you ad good day. Maybe our weather will settle down for a bit. Hugs, Linda (wally01)
Thanks for the update--I do appreciate it. Bless her heart--if it's not one thing, it's another. I think I might could handle anything except a PITA roommate. "No where to run, no where to hide!" Please always let her know that she is in my thoughts & prayers & that I do miss her very much. Maybe you could email me her address & I could at least send her a card ever so often. Hope things are going well with you, also. I know you've got a LOT on your plate & are awesome in my eyes for all you do! Lubs! Deb
Hi. i thought I'd give you an update on myroom (Phyllis). She's still at the nursing home, but she now has a roommate that is driving her nuts. The woman is basically bedfast and butts in on any and every conversation going on in the room. On Monday I'm taking her to a surgeon to evaluate her right hand. She may have to have surgery for carpal tunnel. She's had that before.alisaorrdaisy asked about her today so I thought you'd want to know, too. When I get something definite, I'll let you know. Hugs, Linda (wally01)
Well you did save it for the right one--& even my son cracked up with it also! Looks like you gots lots of land there & so I can see why you need to get some things taken care of so that 30 yrs. from now when you might have drool slithering down your chin, no one who doesn't deserve it can get their greedy hands on it.Lotsa Lubs!
Hi. I saved that verse for you. I wanted to send it to someone who'd get a good laugh out of it. I have been doing some clean-up work around my place with the help of my cousin. I am leaving my property to her when I've "gone home". Don't get upset: I hope it's not soon! I just like to be prepared. There are a few family elements that I don't want involved in my business. When it's all done, I'll post a picture or two. I liked your LOL, and I'm glad you had a good day. Your son is handsome! It's been a long day for me, out of town errands, so I'm off to bed. Hugs, Linda (wally01)
http://cheezburger.com/7459808512 // Thank you, Linda for the adorable BD card & "frog poem". I'd never heard that & got a real kick out of it! Hope I never get frogs in my underpants! Also, love your flower pics & home scenery. And the flowers email--that's a good one! Thanks again, for all, with Hugs! Deb
Hi Linda! Got an email that 'my reply' hadn't been 'picked up'. Did you not get it? I thought I did it correctly--wanted you to know how much I liked it & how that Millie was all perched up looking for the 'other cat'!
Hi, Deb. The night was not too bad. The flower arrangements were the most beautiful I have ever seen with lots of purple and magenta with butterflies, lace, and strings of pearl beads. Everything she loved to see. There was no pall, only a pair of multicolored open-toed high heels! I know that somewhere she is laughing her head off. It was pure "Peggy" all the way. The girls were all there, and I was proud of how they handled things. They haven't mentioned moving Phyllis again, but I am going to talk to the social worker about her internet and moving, too. Maybe, she can tell me something useful. I'll let you know what she says. Hugs, Linda
I lost 2 precious cousins--both when we were young--1 @ 23 & the other @ 35. It's been MANY years since both, but I loved them dearly & still ache for them both. Are you feeling better physically? I had forgotten about checking with ATT on a partner plan. Gotta remember to do that! DID they move Phyllis? I might need more detail on where she is, but if so, I'll email you. Take care of Yourself! LUV!
I'm sure I can come up with some to help you on that. I know you must be overwhelmed with the herd, bitty boys, etc. I'm with AT&T also--wonder if they have a 'partner' plan? They do on cell phones, I know. Hope you do get ALL BETTER. Bronchitis is no fun at all--have had it a few times & it made me cry! There have been times in my 'younger days' that I had laryngitis & guys told me it 'sounded sexy'! HA! They'll tell you anything! And they actually could now as I don't give a darn!!! Keep me updated & take care! BIG Hugs!
Hi, Deb. I have COPD, in my case it's chronic bronchitis. When it is acute, I feel really rotten and have a hard time breathing. I take 4 nebulizer treatments a day now. At least until I get over the acute stage. I'm much better though. My voice is "croaky", and I sound like an old bullfrog! I'll go see Phyllis on Christmas Day, and I'll be sure to tell her you said hello and miss her. I think after the New Year, I'll try to get her internet with AT&T. That's who it was with before. If I work some days at the library, I'll have enough to cover the cost. Hugs, Linda
Hi Linda--First, I heard you had been very sick (the flu, I think)--and sure hope you're all better. Thanks for filling me in about Phyllis--please always let her know I'm thinking about her & miss her. It's terribly to be at the mercy of an insurance company or the government. Maybe they won't move her--that's a trauma in itself, for any one! Wish we could get some kind of 'fund' from her cheez friends to pay for internet for her. I'm not sure how that could be done--still not real familiar with a lot of internet stuff, but it's a thought & if several peeps could just send a little. I definitely feel badly for her--this place has sure filled a big void in my life. Big Hugs--you're a wonderful woman!--Deb
Hi. I went to myroom's (Phyllis's) Christmas party at the nursing home today. We had a good visit, and she said the insurance people are talking about moving her possibly to a group home in a neighboring county. She's not happy about it, but it isn't so far away that I can't go see her there if it happens. She'd been to the hairdresser and had her hair trimmed. She looked very nice. I'll go back probably on Christmas Day for a while. I'm going to try to find an internet plan for her if I can. Hugs, Linda
Hi. I will miss the delightful young boy he was, and the good man he became. My Dad died of the same disease, and it was hard to see him go through the same stages Dad did knowing that all had been done that could be done. His family will miss him terribly. I was going to take some pictures this weekend, but I had to work on the fence that encloses The Herd. Two of them decided to stage a *jailbreak*. I had to improvise. I think it's going to work, at least I hope so. I'll try to get some in the next few days. Thank you, Linda
Hi Linda--Just sending condolences to beckysdad & saw where you'd lost a former student. I'm so very sorry to learn that--and pray you will be comforted. BTW--it's about time to see new pictures of the kittehs! They should have grown alot since the first set of pics. Hope you're doing well otherwise! Lubs--Deb
