That Warm Morning heater sure sounds good!! I'm always the first one to wake up in the morning so I have the "privilege" of making the mad dash to the thermostat and then back to bed before. We've only got a 50-50 chance of getting that freezing rain tomorrow so I'm hoping we'll get lucky. Be careful heading to town today!
Sounds just like here, especially the "colder than" part! lol! We've got mostly sleet tho. Yeah, we're good. The heat went off for a while this morning but amazingly enough they got it back on! Whew! I take it your heat's hanging in there, too. Glad you're all fine and hope your tootsies have thawed. I think we've both got another bout of this to go tomorrow before we're all out of the woods. Stay safe and warm your own self, my friend!
Some days it's best to stay indoors and this sounds like one of those days for you! Internet access, is such an easy way to keep in touch with friends and family, and havng to fo without is a terrible shame for myroom : (
Hi Wally, can I ask a favor? MCcharmer told me you are in contact with Myroom? She is on my personal friendlist, and on the book club's friendlist, so I come across her name regularly but never see her around ; ( Please tell her that she is missed. I am sure I am not the only cheezfriend who misses her in cheezland. Will you pass on my best wishes for her? Thank you!
While we may not talk about it too often, we can all appreciate a good poop and for CB it's very important right now. I'm amazed at what they can accomplish these days with medical techniques. There's plenty of reason to be hopeful. I'll be praying that CB gets to rejoin the herd very soon. Hang in there.
Hey Linda! Yep, we're right in the thick of it, too. After last year's ice storm I would have thought it would be years before we had to go through this again. Where's global warming when you need it? lol! I am SO glad you'll have heat!! Our power company is whining too and came on the local news last night to let everybody know to expect outages lasting 5 to 7 days. Gee, thanks - that's great. My hubs has a couple of propane heaters he takes to Deer Camp so we'll hunker down in the kitchen with the bigger one and put the small one in the bathroom to use when we need it. So we'll get through, as long as none of the pines around the house crashes into the roof. Oh, I ED'd about C.B. and am sending you all the prayers and positive thoughts I can muster up. Hang in there, C.B.!!
